COVID-19 Update From the RMA Long Island IVF Team
Monday, March 30, 2020
RMA Long Island IVF remains committed to the delivery of safe and supportive care, especially during this challenging time. We also recognize the emotional impact associated with reproductive health treatment and strive to support our new and current patients during this time of uncertainty. Our clinical team is aggressively evaluating the COVID-19 situation on a daily basis in order to provide continuity of care while also keeping patient safety a top priority.
Our team will be taking the following precautionary measures in order to keep all patients and staff healthy and to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Existing Patients
The senior leadership team at RMA Long Island IVF has taken extensive measures to educate the physicians and staff to ensure the delivery of the safest care possible. We have heard and understand your concerns about procedures and in-office follow-ups and want to ensure that any patients who need to come in are comfortable doing so. Please call our offices if you have any questions or concerns about your treatment plan. You may download and fill out the Patient Consent for Treatment During the COVID-19 Pandemic here.
We are also offering our existing patients access to a dynamic telemedicine platform via Microsoft Teams so that you can engage with your physician virtually and avoid any delays in treatment. Please call our offices at 877-838-2229 to schedule a telemedicine appointment.
New Patients
To ensure that your family building plans are minimally interrupted, our physicians are available for in-office patient visits. All of our team members are adhering to stringent precautionary measures to minimize the risk of contracting or spreading COVID-19, including practicing social distancing.
If you prefer, our physicians are also available to provide new patient consultations via telemedicine using Microsoft Teams. Please call our offices at 877-838-2229 to schedule a virtual appointment.
We realize that this is a scary and uncertain time for all. The impact of COVID-19 on fertility and pregnancy is still largely unknown. Please know that the team at RMA Long Island IVF is here to discuss any concerns you may have about your health and your treatment plan. Please do not hesitate to call us at 877-838-2229. We will get through this together!
