Prior to joining RMA of New York in 2015, Dr. McAvey was a faculty member at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Montefiore Medical Center’s Institute for Reproductive Medicine & Health. She is currently on the faculty at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and she has a teaching position of assistant professor, where she is actively involved in educating residents and medical school students. She also serves as the site director at Mount Sinai South Nassau, here on Long Island. Dr. McAvey is a physician partner at RMA of New York, a world renowned IVF center with locations throughout the NY area and she has served as the medical director at RMA of New York — Long Island since 2019.
She has received numerous accolades over the years, including annual recognition for both Castle Connelly Top Doctors and Super Doctors.
She is a native of Long Island and currently resides in Roslyn, NY with her husband and family.
